About Me
I’m Heather, a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 25 years of experience and a Life and Spiritual Coach. Armed with dual toolboxes, my expertise lies in relationship dynamics, parenting, addiction recovery, trauma treatment, and Tarotpy®. As a Certified Life and Spiritual Coach, my approach blends intuition and compassion, addressing blind spots with kindness and humor. With a background in residential adolescent therapy, family counseling, and a successful, private practice for several years, I’m dedicated to supporting you on your journey, helping navigate challenges, and facilitating positive changes. The Greek origin of psychotherapy means to render service to the soul or life spirit and as a therapist and coach, I believe this is my soul’s purpose.
My Approach
At Personal Growth In Your Hands, I show up with the conviction that you have the power to make meaningful changes in your life and that you hold the key to your own inner healing via your innate wisdom. Sometimes in the hustle and bustle, we humans forget, and I help remind you. Together, we lay out the puzzle pieces of your life and look at the big picture. For me, a way I love to work is using Tarotpy® invented by my mentor, Lauren Schneider. We can use imagery and cards to “rearrange the cards we have been dealt” and thus create new patterns. I also find IEMT and Brainspotting, a body brain trauma modality, a way to heal powerfully.
I am very passionate about helping women reclaim their lives who feel stuck in life's challenges, whether in their personal relationships, career life transitions or their spirituality.
